On World Environment Day 2025, MPCB and MIDC Industries Association launched a joint clean-up drive in Nagpur’s Hingna industrial area, aimed at stopping illegal dumping and plastic mismanagement. The initiative was a rare, coordinated effort between government bodies and industrial players, made possible by Siddhesh Kadam’s proactive facilitation and leadership.

Siddhesh Kadam recognized that pollution cannot be solved in silos. By bringing together enforcement and industry, he built a framework for shared responsibility and continuous monitoring. His efforts also ensured that the drive wasn’t symbolic, it included practical steps like identification of violators, waste segregation protocols, and better disposal infrastructure planning.
